Quartz is an engineered stone surface made predominantly of natural quartz — one of the hardest minerals on earth — bound with resins and pigments into dense, non-porous slabs. The result is a countertop material that combines the depth and character of natural stone with far more consistent color, pattern and performance.
For kitchens in Lebanon, quartz has become the reference choice for families who want a worktop that looks refined on day one and still looks refined a decade later. Because the color runs through the full body of the slab, quartz countertops keep their appearance through years of daily cooking, cleaning and entertaining.
SLABTEK supplies QuartzForms engineered quartz slabs and fabricates them into finished countertops in our own facility in Zouk Mosbeh — one team from slab selection to installation.
German-engineered quartz surfaces with approximately 92% pure quartz content — exceptional hardness, consistent color and a wide palette from minimal solids to veined designs.
Every quartz countertop is fabricated in SLABTEK's Zouk Mosbeh facility. Slabs are dimensioned on a CNC bridge saw, shaped on a CNC machining centre for sink cutouts, hob cutouts and drainage grooves, and finished with polished edge profiles. For waterfall islands we cut 45-degree mitred edges so the veining flows continuously from countertop to floor, and our 5-axis waterjet handles curved and sculpted shapes.
Yes. Quartz is one of the most durable countertop materials available — its high natural quartz content makes it extremely hard and resistant to scratches, chips and daily wear.
Quartz tolerates normal kitchen temperatures well, but the resin binder can be damaged by direct contact with very hot pans. We always recommend using a trivet under hot cookware.
No. Quartz is non-porous, so it never needs sealing — one of its biggest advantages over natural marble and granite.
SLABTEK carries QuartzForms surfaces in a wide range of colors — pure whites, greys, concrete and metallic effects, and marble-look veined designs. Browse the QuartzForms collection or visit us in Zouk Mosbeh to see slabs in person.
Absolutely. Quartz is ideal for islands, including waterfall islands with mitred edges — SLABTEK cuts the 45-degree mitres in-house for a seamless flow of pattern down the sides.
Common thicknesses are 2 cm and 3 cm. A 2 cm top can be built up with mitred edges for a thicker look; 3 cm offers a substantial single-slab profile. We'll advise based on your design and spans.
Yes — SLABTEK supplies the slabs, fabricates them with CNC precision in our Zouk Mosbeh facility, and installs the finished countertops anywhere in Lebanon.
