Large-format ceramic slabs are made from refined clays and mineral pigments, dry-compacted under enormous pressure and fired into a dense, full-bodied surface. Modern ceramic slabs reproduce the most sought-after marbles, stones and concretes with startling realism — while outperforming the natural originals in daily use.
In Lebanese kitchens, ceramic offers the look of Calacatta, travertine or raw concrete without the maintenance those materials demand. The surface doesn't stain, doesn't etch with lemon or vinegar, handles hot pans, and never needs sealing — a practical match for how Mediterranean kitchens actually cook.
SLABTEK carries two ceramic slab collections — Materia and Surface Design — and fabricates them into countertops, islands and cladding in our Zouk Mosbeh facility.
Large-format ceramic slabs, dry-compacted and fired for exceptional density — marble, stone and concrete designs for countertops and architectural surfaces.
Advanced ceramic slabs with richly veined marble-inspired designs — including bookmatched faces for dramatic islands and feature walls.
Ceramic slabs are cut cold on SLABTEK's 5-axis waterjet to prevent chipping, then shaped and finished on our CNC machining centre: sink and hob cutouts, polished edge profiles, drainage grooves and 45-degree mitred edges for waterfall islands. Bookmatched pairs are digitally laid out on our 12K slab scanner so the veining aligns perfectly across joints.
Yes — large-format ceramic is dense, vitrified and harder than steel, making it highly resistant to scratches, impacts and wear.
No. The fired surface is non-absorbent, so common kitchen spills — wine, coffee, oil, lemon — wipe off without a trace.
Yes. Ceramic is fired at extreme temperatures and is unaffected by hot cookware placed directly on the surface.
Never. Ceramic is non-porous by nature and requires no sealing or special maintenance — just normal household cleaning.
Yes — modern ceramic slabs reproduce Calacatta, Statuario and other marbles with high-definition realism, including bookmatched veining, without marble's staining and etching.
Yes. SLABTEK cuts ceramic on a 5-axis waterjet, shapes and polishes it on CNC machinery in Zouk Mosbeh, and installs the finished countertops across Lebanon.
