A look inside Lebanon's most advanced countertop fabrication facility — where CNC cutting, edge profiling, and custom fabrication turn premium slabs into finished surfaces.
In the heart of Zouk Mosbeh, a short drive north of Beirut, SLABTEK operates a 3,000 square meter facility dedicated to one thing: transforming the world's finest slab materials into flawless finished surfaces. It is, we believe, the most advanced countertop fabrication operation in Lebanon — and it is the reason architects, fabricators, and homeowners across the country trust us with their most demanding projects.
A slab is only as good as the hands — and machines — that shape it. A premium Quartzforms or Kedra slab arrives from Europe as a raw canvas measuring over three meters long. Between that canvas and a finished kitchen island lies a chain of decisions and processes where millimeters matter. Our facility was designed around that chain.
At the core of our operation are computer-controlled CNC bridge saws and machining centers. Every cut is programmed digitally from the project's templated dimensions, which means sink cutouts, cooktop openings, and faucet holes are executed with repeatable, sub-millimeter accuracy — something no manual process can match.
CNC cutting matters most with large-format porcelain and sintered stone. Materials like Kedra are extraordinarily hard and thin, and they punish imprecise cutting with chipped edges or hairline stress cracks. Our machines use calibrated blade speeds, water cooling, and controlled feed rates tuned to each specific material, so a 12mm porcelain slab leaves the saw as clean as it arrived.
The edge is where a countertop reveals its quality. Our profiling line produces everything from crisp square arris edges to full bullnose, bevel, and mitred waterfall edges. Mitred edges — increasingly the signature of modern Lebanese kitchens — demand 45-degree cuts of absolute consistency so that two faces of the same slab meet with the vein pattern flowing uninterrupted around the corner.
After profiling, every edge is honed and polished in stages to match the slab's factory finish. A polished Epic marble-look surface gets a mirror edge; a satin Kedra surface gets an edge finished to the same soft touch.
Beyond countertops, our team fabricates full-height backsplashes, integrated drainboards, bookmatched feature walls, dining and coffee tables, vanities, and commercial reception desks. Because we stock the slabs, run the machines, and manage installation, a single point of accountability follows your project from selection to the final silicone bead.
If you are planning a project — residential or commercial — we welcome visits to the facility. Walk the slab racks, see the machines at work, and let our team help you choose the right material for the way you live. That is the SLABTEK difference: world-class materials, fabricated in Lebanon, to a standard with no compromises.
